ROBIN's LEGACY

Welcome Board Member, Co-Founder, and President Robin McIntyre
"I never wanted Alzheimer's Disease (AD) to define who I was. Turns out, it's everything I am." - Robin McIntyre
Robin has been an Alzheimer's Disease caregiver to her mother, Lori McIntyre (DeMoe), who passed away at the age of 56 after a courageous battle with a rare genetic form of Early-Onset Alzheimer's Disease.
Going the distance as an ALZSTAR in the fight against Alzheimer's Disease, increasing awareness, and inspiring others to take action, Robin has been an advocate for this disease and the families it's affected.
She calls herself a "Lab Rat" who has selflessly given her time and body to Alzheimer's Research for over 16 years.
Robin is in her third drug trial with a small number of participants in the world’s leading Alzheimer’s prevention studies, the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer Network (DIAN). This is an adaptive platform trial, testing multiple drugs to slow or prevent the progression of Alzheimer's disease in autosomal dominant Alzheimer's disease (ADAD) families.
Robin has been an Alzheimer's Association volunteer since 2006. Who's also proud to have been an Ambassador for the disease. She has served on the board at her local chapter and was the Development Manager for the Alzheimer's Association Wyoming Chapter.
Most recently, she and her partner Charles, founded the White Flower Foundation. The White Flower represents the first Alzheimer's Survivor.
From day one of knowing about carrying this rare genetic mutation, she said she'd be the first survivor. Which seems like a huge feat after losing 11 family members to the disease, all before the age of 60.
With your help, we can stop this deadly disease and provide support to the participants of this drug trial, who are selflessly changing the face of this disease for millions of families.
